- Most Genealogical sites charge a fee for looking up your family lineage but Family Search provides information free of charge.
- DNA Testing can be pricey as well. Make sure you do your research to see if the company is reputable. You don’t want your DNA falling into the wrong hands.
- Some of the names of your relatives may be misspelled on certain documents. Don’t be discouraged, birth certificates and census records vary from time to time. Try to match the date and place of birth if you have lingering doubts.
